Cooking, Meals & Drinks
Stations, recipes, food values and drink effects for Nytheria's kitchen mods - Farmer's Delight, Farm & Charm, Bakery, Vinery, HerbalBrews, Candlelight, Meadow and Beachparty.
This page lists what you can cook, bake, brew and mix in Nytheria, which station makes it, and which dishes feed you best. It is a child of Farming & Cooking, which explains how the kitchen mods connect and covers farming and the Hunger Dial.
Overview#
Almost every dish is made at a station. The stations come from two kitchen systems that share tags and, through a compatibility mod, some recipes. The table lists the main stations with the recipe that builds them. Farmer's Delight and Farm & Charm each have their own cooking pot, stove and cutting board, so check which one a recipe needs.
Candlelight stoves and Meadow's tiled stoves count as heat sources for a Farmer's Delight cooking pot, so the pot works on any of them.

Farmer's Delight#
Farmer's Delight Refabricated is the base kitchen. The cooking pot takes its ingredients in any order, and the dish needs a bowl as its container. A cutting board turns a knife and a cabbage into two cabbage leaves.
| Dish | Ingredients |
|---|---|
| Beef Stew | raw beef, carrot, potato |
| Vegetable Soup | carrot, potato, beetroot, leafy green |
| Fried Rice | rice, egg, carrot, onion |
| Pasta with Meatballs | minced beef, pasta, tomato sauce |
| Baked Cod Stew | raw cod, potato, egg, tomato |
| Chicken Soup | raw chicken, carrot, leafy green, vegetable |
| Ratatouille | tomato, onion, beetroot, vegetable |
| Onion Soup | 2 onions, bread, milk |
| Tomato Sauce | 2 tomatoes |
| Hot Cocoa | milk, sugar, 2 cocoa beans |
| Apple Cider | 2 apples, sugar |
Feast blocks are crafted shapeless and need a bowl. Roast Chicken uses onion, egg, bread, 2 carrots, cooked chicken and 2 baked potatoes. Shepherd's Pie uses 2 baked potatoes, milk, 3 cooked mutton and 2 onions. Honey Glazed Ham uses 4 sweet berries, a honey bottle, smoked ham and 2 cooked rice. Stuffed Pumpkin is cooked in the pot instead.
The top dishes give 14 hunger with a saturation modifier of 0.75: Pumpkin Soup, Baked Cod Stew, Noodle Soup, Roasted Mutton Chops, Vegetable Noodles, Squid Ink Pasta, Grilled Salmon, and the plates of Roast Chicken, Honey Glazed Ham and Shepherd's Pie. Beef Stew, Vegetable Soup, Chicken Soup, Fried Rice and Pasta with Meatballs give 12 at 0.8. Barbecue on a Stick gives only 8 but has the best saturation modifier in Farmer's Delight, 0.9.
To compare dishes, multiply hunger by the saturation modifier and by 2 to get saturation points. A Plate of Shepherd's Pie gives 14 x 0.75 x 2 = 21 saturation points.
The pack leaves several of the mod's extras on. The pot has a recipe book, vanilla soups gain extra effects, rabbit stew has a buff, and mushroom stew, beetroot soup and rabbit stew stack. Cutting boards have 106 recipes in total, among them cabbage into cabbage leaves and, with Tide installed, any cookable fish into fish slices.
Autochef's Delight adds stacked cooking to the Farmer's Delight cooking pot. The mod has no config file in the pack.
Farm & Charm#
[Let's Do] Farm & Charm adds the second kitchen. Its Crafting Bowl makes dough, its Stove bakes bread and pies, and its Roaster handles meat. Bakery and Candlelight use these same stations. A cutting board needs only a stick and 2 birch planks here.
Goulash gives the most hunger, and Sausage with Oat Patty has the best saturation modifier. The Farmer's Breakfast feast gives 7 hunger and a modifier of 0.8, and its Farmer's Blessing effect lasts 8 minutes.
The Farm & Charm config lists 27 foods. The eight highest, plus the Farmer's Breakfast for comparison:
| Dish | Hunger | Saturation modifier |
|---|---|---|
| Goulash | 14 | 0.8 |
| Sausage with Oat Patty | 13 | 0.9 |
| Lamb with Corn | 12 | 0.8 |
| Chicken Wrapped in Bacon | 12 | 0.7 |
| Cooked Salmon | 12 | 0.8 |
| Cooked Cod | 11 | 0.75 |
| Beef Patty with Vegetables | 11 | 0.75 |
| Barley Patties with Potatoes | 10 | 0.65 |
| Farmer's Breakfast | 7 | 0.8 |
The Mincer has 53 recipes of its own, and it is the Farm & Charm station for minced meat.
Bakery#
Bakery starts with flour from Farm & Charm. Dough is made in the Crafting Bowl (cake dough or sweet dough, 12 pieces from flour, sugar, an egg and milk or a water bottle), then baked on the Farm & Charm stove. Bread comes from dough, sugar and a water bottle (4 loaves). A croissant needs sweet dough, yeast and sugar, and a waffle needs sweet dough, sugar and an egg.
The Caking Station builds cakes: right-click a blank cake with jam or truffles. The Jam Pot makes 3 jars from 2 apples and sugar, or from 2 strawberries and sugar, and also makes chocolate spread from milk, chocolate and sugar. A rolling pin flattens dough, and a knife cuts cakes into cupcakes and cookies. Sandwiches are built on the cutting board from bread, cooked beef and lettuce. The best sandwich is the plain Sandwich with 9 hunger at 0.8.
Jam comes in more flavours than the two above: apple, strawberry, sweetberry, glowberry and chocolate spread. The config lists 35 Bakery foods. Grilled Salmon and Bacon Sandwiches give 8 hunger at 0.8, a Vegetable Sandwich gives 7 at 0.6, and croissants and breads give 4 to 6. Two effects belong to the mod: Vitality removes 0.08 exhaustion every 10 ticks and grows with its level, and Sugar Rush stacks up to 10 times for +2 % speed per stack. A Wandering Baker also exists as a trader; its spawn rules are not visible in the config.
Vinery wine#
[Let's Do] Vinery runs on grapes. Stomp them in the Grapevine Pot (12 jumps, a little faster in heavy armour), ferment the juice in the Fermentation Barrel for 5 minutes and bottle it. An Apple Press turns apples into mash in 30 seconds and juice in a further 40 seconds. A Wine Bottle is made from 2 glass bottles (makes 4).
| Wine | Ingredients in the barrel |
|---|---|
| Red Wine | 10 red grape juice, sugar |
| Cherry Wine | 15 red juice, cherry |
| Noir Wine | 12 red juice, sweet berries |
| Strad Wine | 8 red juice, cocoa, sugar |
| Chorus Wine | 8 red taiga juice, chorus fruit |
| Eiswein | 10 white taiga juice, snowball |
| Creeper's Crush | 10 white savanna juice, gunpowder |
| Mead | 1 apple juice, honey bottle, sugar |
| Apple Wine | 15 apple juice, plus an Apple Juice item |
| Cristel Wine | 25 red juice, sugar, feather, blaze rod |
| Aegis Wine | 7 white taiga juice, sugar, kelp, iron ingot |
| Glowing (Sun-kissed) Wine | 10 white juice, glow berries |
| Lilitu Wine | 14 red savanna juice, honey bottle, cherry |
There are 26 wines, each with its own effect lasting 90 seconds at base, for example red wine gives slow falling, cherry wine invisibility, Strad wine night vision, mead haste and apple wine resistance. Wine also ages: one wine year is 24 in-game days, which is about 8 hours of play, so the aging bonus builds up slowly.
More of the effects are Cristel Wine (water breathing), Noir Wine (jump boost), Apple Cider (strength), Solaris Wine (health boost), the Sun-kissed Glowing Wine (glowing) and Bolvar Wine (lava walker). Chorus Wine, Creeper's Crush and Mellohi Wine have very short base effects of 10, 100 and 1 ticks.
HerbalBrews teas and coffee#
[Let's Do] HerbalBrews grows tea, coffee, rooibos and yerba mate. The Tea Kettle makes drinks with a glass bottle and dried leaves. Brewing time is set per recipe in the kettle; the cauldron uses a separate 60-second setting. Drying leaves takes 45 seconds.
| Drink | Effect |
|---|---|
| Black Tea (dried black tea, sugar) | Tough |
| Green Tea | Balanced |
| Oolong | Fortune |
| Lavender | Feral |
| Hibiscus | Lifeleech |
| Yerba Mate | Bonding |
| Rooibos | Regeneration, only 200 ticks (10 seconds) |
| Coffee, Milk Coffee | Deeprush (Milk Coffee lasts 2,600 ticks, 130 seconds) |
Other drinks last 1,800 ticks (90 seconds). The Jug holds up to 3 teas and gives all their effects when you right-click. A Herbal Infusion needs 3 dried black, 3 dried green and 3 dried oolong tea, and a Flask is brewed in the cauldron from 3 potions and an infusion.
| Item | Recipe |
|---|---|
| Tea Kettle | 4 iron ingots, 2 sticks |
| Copper Tea Kettle | 5 copper ingots, sticks |
| Brewing Cauldron | 5 iron ingots, 2 sticks |
| Jug | 7 glass panes |
| Witch Hat | 4 wool, 1 gold ingot |
| Top Hat | 7 wool |
Both hats reduce magical damage by 40 %. Plants you can grow are tea, coffee, rooibos and yerba mate, and lavender and hibiscus grow too; the wild coffee, rooibos and yerba mate plants also exist.
Candlelight dinners#
[Let's Do] Candlelight turns eating into a bonus. Food eaten from a Table Set fills you 30 % more, and 50 % more if you wear a full suit or dress. A course gives Well Served for 1,200 ticks, up to 12,000 ticks (10 minutes). A full menu of starter, main and dessert gives 6,000 ticks up to 18,000 ticks (15 minutes), with at most 6,000 ticks between courses. Well Served keeps your hunger at 8 points or more, which is four drumsticks.
Dinner guests visit in the evening: a 30 % chance within 16 blocks, and a villager guest gives a 10 % trade discount for one day. The chef set gives a 25 % bigger portion from the Cooking Pan and Pot. Top dishes are Pasta with Bolognese and Pot Roast (12 hunger, Pot Roast at 0.9), Fillet Steak (11, 0.8) and Beef Wellington (9, 0.8).
Candlelight has its own stations: a Cooking Pot (5 copper ingots, wooden shovel), a Cooking Pan (4 copper ingots, sticks), a Cloche, tables, cabinets, sinks and stoves in over ten materials, a Wine Glass (7 glass panes make 3) and a Gold Ring (diamond, 7 gold ingots). Its dishes are cooked with the Farm & Charm crafting bowl, pot, roaster and stove. A Pot Roast is beef, potato, carrot and onion in the pot, and a Lasagne uses bolognese, pasta and cheese on the stove.
Meadow cheese#
Press a bucket of milk and Rennet in the Cheese Press to get a cheese wheel. There are seven wheels: normal, sheep, goat, buffalo, grain, warped and amethyst. Rennet is an egg, salt and a glass bottle (makes 2) from the Cookpot. The Cookpot costs 5 iron ingots and 3 copper ingots, and salt cooking gives 2 to 4 portions of meat. Cheese Rolls (8) and Cheese Sandwiches (6) are simple crafting recipes with bread and cheese.
The other milks have their own recipes. Grain milk is 3 wheat and a wooden bucket in the Cookpot. Amethyst milk is an amethyst cluster, salt and milk. Alpine salt comes from calcite (x2) or limestone (x4) in the Cookpot, and salt cooking also turns a potato into 4 baked potatoes or beef into 4 steaks. A Fondue Pot costs 5 iron ingots and 2 sticks. Cheesecake and Cheese Tart need 3 wheat, eggs and cheese, with milk. All seven cheese slices count as cheese for Candlelight dishes.
Wild game from WilderNature#
[Let's Do] WilderNature adds meat as well as animals. Venison, bison, cassowary, pelican and turkey each come with a cooked version, which you smelt, smoke or cook on a campfire. Hazelnuts and truffles are the other food items. The animals themselves, and what they eat, are covered on Farming & Cooking.
Beachparty cocktails#
The Palm Bar mixes cocktails, and each needs ice. The Coconut Cocktail uses an open coconut, ice and a honey bottle. Other mixes use cocoa beans and sugar, honeycomb and milk, melon slices and sugar, pumpkin with sugar and milk, or sweet berries and sugar. The Mini Fridge makes ice from a water bottle in 60 seconds.
The Mini Fridge (5 iron ingots, redstone) does more than ice. It also freezes ice into packed ice (60 seconds), packed ice into blue ice (40 seconds) and a water bucket into powder snow (30 seconds). Beachparty also adds coconut palms, mussels and a Sandy Merchant villager.
Tips#
- Cook the 14-hunger dishes first, and let
AppleSkin show the exact values: its food tooltips are always on in the pack. Goulash and the Farmer's Delight soups give the most hunger per item. - Use the Farm & Charm pot if you have no bricks or water bucket yet. Both pots cost 5 iron ingots and a wooden shovel.
- Eat at a Candlelight table before a long fight or a boss. Well Served keeps your hunger high.
- Start wine early: fermentation takes 5 minutes, and aging is slow.
- Carry cooked fish from Tide as emergency food. See Fishing with Tide.
In the quest book#
The Hearth and Home chapters A Roof and a Pot and The Long Table in Part 2 walk you through the pot, board, skillet and stove, then tea, dough, wine and a laid table. Their capstones ask for 16 foods in your inventory and for 20 servings of food with five different foods eaten.
