[Let's Do] Vinery
Adds grapes, apple and cherry trees, and a full winemaking chain from grape juice to aged wine.
What it adds#
Vinery is the Let's Do winemaking mod. It adds red and white grapes in several regional types (normal, taiga, savanna and jungle), apple and cherry trees, grapevine stems and lattices, and the blocks for making drinks: the Grapevine Pot, the Apple Press and the Fermentation Barrel. There are dozens of wines, plus cider, mead and juices, and many storage and decoration blocks such as wine racks, wine boxes and bottle storage.
Getting started#
- Find grapes. Normal grape bushes grow in forests, plains, meadows, swamps, rivers and mountains. Taiga grapes grow in taigas and mountains, savanna grapes in savannas and wooded badlands, and jungle grapes in jungles and wooded badlands.
- Plant them. Grape seeds grow as a bush, or on a Grapevine Stem for a bigger yield. Jungle grapes can be grown on a lattice.
- Make juice. Place a Grapevine Pot and put grapes into it to get grape juice. Apples go into the Apple Press.
- Ferment. Put the juice and the other ingredients into a Fermentation Barrel. After fermenting you get a finished wine.
Tips#
- Different wines need different grape types, so collect all variants early.
- Wine gets better with age; one advancement asks for a wine aged for 15 years.
- Placed wine bottles and racks make good decoration for a cellar.
