Made for Nytheria
The 23 jars Navrelis made for Nytheria: 22 mods plus the Sporran layer, with what each does for you, the pack's settings, the keys they use, and the resource and data packs built for the pack.
Most of Nytheria is other people's work, chosen and tuned for the pack. A part of it was made for the pack by its author, Navrelis. That means new mods, forks and remasters of older mods, and Sporran, a layer that runs NeoForge mods on Fabric. The count is 23 jars made for the pack: 22 mods plus Sporran. A jar counts when Navrelis is listed as an author, or, for Sporran, in the CurseForge record. The mod list has a "Made for Nytheria" filter.
Several of these are forks or remasters. They build on the work of the original authors, who are named at the end of this page and on Credits.
How to read this page#
Each table groups the mods by what they do for you. "Side" says where the mod must be installed: "both" means the client and the server, "client" means players only. The last column holds what the pack sets or which key it uses. Values are the pack's own settings.
Storage, hoppers and enchanting#
| Mod | Side | What it does for you | In Nytheria |
|---|---|---|---|
| both | Connects chests, barrels and other inventories into one searchable storage network, opened from a Storage Terminal. Cables, connectors, interfaces and filters. Fork of Tom's Simple Storage by tom5454 | Scan range 16, wireless terminal 32, advanced wireless 128; terminal key B, highlight key H | |
| both | A hopper that pulls from any side and pushes to any other side | 30 input and output combinations, 1.6 times as fast as vanilla | |
| both | Moves enchantments from an item onto a book at an anvil | - | |
| both | Identical enchanted books stack, and the anvil and grindstone use one book of a stack at a time | Stack size 16 |
Since version 5.0, the storage network has a Shulker Dock, a one-click Tidy button, Frame Labels and a Network Doctor. Version 5.1 added the Ejector, Disposal and Exporter filter blocks and the key that outlines the connected inventories. The wireless terminal reaches the network from further away with a beacon: level 1 in the same dimension, level 3 across dimensions. One connector holds up to 2,048 cables. Tidy, Frame Labels, Restock, Item Locator and Builder's Reach are on. The full guide is on Storage Networks.
Building and automation#

| both | Compact automatic mob farms: Mob Masher (its kills count as player kills), Mob Fan, conveyor, Absorption Hopper, Iron Spikes, liquid XP with tanks and taps | The Masher takes up to 10 upgrades |
Mob Grindworks partly brings Mob Grinding Utils to Fabric. For building see Building & Decoration.
Gear and survival#
| Mod | Side | What it does for you | In Nytheria |
|---|---|---|---|
| both | Optimised and extended fork of Artifacts by ochotonida; replaces the original | Ability toggles share the H key | |
| both | One multiplier for all hunger drain | 0.65, so 35 % less hunger; /hungerdial get, set, reload | |
| both | Every player has their own difficulty multiplier, starting at 1.00 times and growing with active play time, kills and gear | Cap 2.50 times; the Ender Dragon is not scaled; /scaling shows yours |
Player Difficulty ships enabled with the mod's defaults. Bosses get half of the scaling effects. Details are on Difficulty & Player Scaling. Artifacts are covered on Armor & Accessories.
World generation#
| Mod | Side | What it does for you | In Nytheria |
|---|---|---|---|
| both | New Nether biomes, plants, mobs and materials. Remaster of BetterNether | Version 30.5.2 | |
| both | New End biomes, woods, tools, armour and mechanics. Remaster of BetterEnd | Version 30.5.2 | |

| both | Per-player loot in chests and barrels, with the structure loot integration built in, a banned-item filter and a command that checks all loot tables | Version 2.0.0; replaces Lootr and its add-on jars |
The Nether and End use these BetterX mods. The Overworld does not. Chests with per-player loot are explained on Per-Player Loot.
Multiplayer and maps#
| Mod | Side | What it does for you | In Nytheria |
|---|---|---|---|
| both | Land claims and parties by Xaero96's mod, plus a Team Claims layer with its own budget, a party screen and a sync with FTB Teams | Version 1.3.0 on OPAC 0.32.7; a team of one has no team claims | |
| both | Shares Xaero's World Map between all players on a server | Live sync and catch-up when you join | |
| client | Players as vanilla head and hat with their own skin, built-in icons for modded mobs that were dots, fallback icons from the mob's renderer | /xaeroiconfix audit |
See Claims & Parties, Multiplayer and Maps & Navigation.
Interface, quests and the pack itself#
| Mod | Side | What it does for you | In Nytheria |
|---|---|---|---|
| both; required on every client | Turns real actions into quest tasks, exports quest data and carries the journal screen | Version 2.0.0; journal on L; needs GeckoLib 4.9.3 or newer | |
| client | When several mods use one key, it fires them all or opens a radial wheel to pick one. Keeps the pack's default options and keys | Hold a shared key to open the wheel; a tap repeats the last pick | |
| both | Invisible fixes for lag spikes, memory leaks, load-time stalls and broken log noise in the game and in other mods | 40 switches, 39 on; log filter with 58 patterns |
QuestBridge connects the quest book to what you do in the world. It also adds the journal, which you open with L. See The Journal.
Polybind is why H opens a wheel instead of one action. The pack ships its defaults through Polybind, so later pack updates reach settings you have not touched, and changes you made stay. Hold the key for 180 milliseconds to see the wheel. See Controls.
TickMender replaced the older Twilight Flask Fix. It shows a title-screen hint with the recommended Java arguments, and adds that the pack runs best with 10 GB of memory when your heap is under 10,000 MB and the PC has 16,000 MB or more. It limits other mods' camera shake (strength 0.5, at most 6 degrees per frame). See Performance & Shaders.
Atmosphere#
| Mod | Side | What it does for you | In Nytheria |
|---|---|---|---|
| both (visual only) | A better night sky that keeps the vanilla feeling: Milky Way, shooting stars, planets, a vanilla-like moon cycle. Fork of Stellar View by Povstalec | It hands the sky to shader packs and takes it back when they are off | |
| client | Held and dropped items, burning entities and many mobs light their surroundings, and the light moves with them | Mode fancy, range short; torch 14, lava bucket 15, blaze 10 |
See Atmosphere & Visuals.
Sporran#
Sporran is a compatibility layer, Navrelis's fork of Kilt, made by the Sporran Team. It lets the pack run NeoForge mods on Fabric. The jar lists the Sporran Team as author, with 16 further contributors, among them the Kilt authors BluSpring and AlphaMode. Navrelis is the primary author in the CurseForge record. It is not an original work of one person.
Sporran is version 1.0.5 for Minecraft 1.21.1. By its own README it is experimental. The first start remaps the NeoForge jars once, which takes about 30 to 40 seconds. Version 1.0.5 fixed screen shake that was 57 times too strong in NeoForge mods.
Four jars run through Sporran:
| Jar | Version | Author | What it is |
|---|---|---|---|
| L_Ender's Cataclysm | 3.33 | L_Ender | Boss and structure mod |
| Astral Dimension | 3.0 | Mr.Sculk | Two extra dimensions |
| Curios API | 9.5.1 | C4 (TheIllusiveC4) | The accessory API that Cataclysm needs |
| Lionfish API | 3.1 | L_Ender | Library for Cataclysm |
The Twilight Forest does not run through Sporran. It is a native Fabric port. See L_Ender's Cataclysm Bosses and Astral Dimension & Setback.

Who the originals come from#
Nytheria's forks and remasters build on this work: BetterNether and BetterEnd (paulevs, Bulldog83, Edos, Yuki, Seaward, Firel and the BetterX team), Tom's Simple Storage (tom5454), Effortless Building (Requioss), Artifacts (ochotonida and Florens), Open Parties and Claims (Xaero96 and contributors, LGPL-3.0), Lootr (Noobanidus, ZestyBlaze, embeddedt), Stellar View (Povstalec with Noobly Walker, tehgreatdoge, Erdragh and tristankechlo), Mob Grinding Utils, and Kilt (KiltMC, BluSpring, AlphaMode) with Porting Lib (Fabricators of Create) for Sporran. Mandala's GUI is by cesarzorak.
