Effortless Building: Sophisticated (Enhanced Fork)

What it adds#

Effortless Building: Sophisticated (called Sophisticated Building in the game, version 5.0.1) is Navrelis' enhanced fork of Effortless Building (by Requioss). It lets you place many blocks at once with build modes: Single, Line, Wall, Floor, Diagonal Line, Diagonal Wall, Slope Floor, Cube, Circle, Cylinder, Sphere, Pyramid, Cone and Terrain Mound (mound, slope, flat, mountain or wall shapes with optional natural variation). Modifiers such as mirror and array repeat what you place. It also adds Randomizer Bags (leather, golden, diamond, omega) that place a random block from their contents, Building Upgrades for Sophisticated Backpacks that let you build from the backpack's inventory, and mass breaking in survival mode.

Getting started#

1. Open the build mode radial menu with its key (see Controls, category Sophisticated Building) and pick a mode.
2. Click to set the start point, move the mouse to size the shape, and click again to place it. A preview and a block counter show what will be placed.
3. Open the Modifier Menu to add mirror or array modifiers.
4. Use Undo (Ctrl+Z) and Redo (Ctrl+Y) if something goes wrong.

Your Building Power Level limits reach and how many blocks you can place at once. Raise it by crafting Reach Upgrades 1 to 3 and using them in order (operators can use /powerlevel).

Tips#

• Protect Tile Entities keeps chests and other data blocks safe when replacing.
• Replace Only Air and Filter By Offhand control what a shape may overwrite.
• Select Disable to go back to vanilla placement.
