BetterNether: Remastered
Navrelis' remaster of BetterNether: more than 20 new Nether biomes, plants, mobs, cincinnasite and ruby gear, and new structures.
What it adds#
BetterNether: Remastered is Navrelis' maintained version of BetterNether (originally by paulevs and Bulldog83), made for Nytheria. It adds more than 20 Nether biomes, for example the Bone Reef, Crimson Glowing Woods, Flooded Deltas, Gravel Desert, Magma Land, Nether Jungle, Nether Mushroom Forest, Nether Swampland, Soul Plain, Upside Down Forest and Wart Forest. It also brings:
- many new plants and several new wood types,
- mobs such as the Firefly, Flying Pig, Hydrogen Jellyfish, Jungle Skeleton and Naga,
- cincinnasite and ruby tools and armor, a forge, and new obsidian variants,
- ruined Nether cities.
Getting started#
Build a Nether portal and explore. In Nytheria the Nether uses the BetterX generator, so BetterNether's biomes appear together with 
Incendium and the vanilla biomes. Mine cincinnasite for your first new tools, and look for ruby ore later on.
Tips#
- Read plant tooltips before throwing them away; many can be farmed.
- Smithing templates for cincinnasite and ruby tools are found in Nether loot chests.
- Converting lava above soul sand or soulstone gives blue obsidian, and a lightning rod helps to make crying and weeping obsidian variants.
- Guides for the original BetterNether help, but values in this remaster can differ.
