Friends&Foes (Fabric/Quilt)

What it adds#

Friends & Foes adds mobs that were part of Minecraft's community mob votes but never made it into the game, and brings back a few unused ones:

• Friendly: the Copper Golem, Tuff Golem, Glare, Moobloom, Crab and Rascal.
• Hostile: the Iceologer, the Illusioner, the Mauler and the Wildfire.

Getting started#

Most of these mobs spawn on their own in matching places. The Wildfire lives in the Nether, the Iceologer and the Illusioner belong to the illager side, and the friendly mobs appear in the Overworld. The golems are built by players, similar to vanilla golems.

Tips#

• The Wildfire is a Nether mini-boss; its drops are used for the Wildfire Crown. See Bosses.
• The Copper Golem presses copper buttons on its own and oxidizes over time.
• The Glare likes dark places and helps you find spots where mobs can spawn.
• The Rascal plays hide-and-seek; finding it several times gives a reward.
• The mod has its own wiki with all mobs and recipes.
