What it adds#

AdventureZ adds new animals, monsters and bosses:

• Creatures: Orcs, Mammoths, Deer, Skunks, Iguanas, Shamans, Red and Brown Fungus, the Skeleton Vanguard, Ender Whales and Enderwarthogs. Desert Rhinos appear near desert wells, Amethyst Golems in geodes, and Summoners during thunderstorms.
• Nether: the Soul Reaper riding a Nightmare in soul sand valleys, the Withered Necromancer, the Blaze Guardian, the Mini Blackstone Golem and the Piglin Beast, which piglins call when you mine their gold or kill too many of them.
• Bosses and rideables: the Blackstone Golem, The Eye (in the End) and a Dragon you can hatch, saddle and ride.

It also adds Gilded Netherite armor, the Blackstone Golem Heart and Arm, the Prime Eye, the Source Stone, the Ender Flute (calls Ender Whales) and several new foods.

Getting started#

• Blackstone Golem: in the Nether, build a 9 × 9 floor of blackstone blocks (blackstone, polished blackstone, polished blackstone bricks, their slabs or gilded blackstone). Place a Chiseled Polished Blackstone Holder in the middle of each side, level with the floor, keep the block above each holder empty, and put a Gilded Blackstone Shard on all four.
• The Eye: see Bosses for its shrine.
• Gilded Netherite: upgrade netherite armor with Gilded Netherite Fragments. With the full set, catching fire gives you Fire Resistance for a minute (with a one-minute recharge).

Tips#

• The Void Shadow and its void world need the separate VoidZ add-on, which is not part of Nytheria.
• In Nytheria, Boss Ultimatum (Modpack Utils Series) counts how often The Eye, the Blackstone Golem, the Soul Reaper and the Piglin Beast kill a player. From the third kill on, each kill sets the boss back to 50 % health.
• Hold Shift over AdventureZ items for extra tooltips.
