EMI

What it adds#

EMI is the recipe viewer of Nytheria. When your inventory or another container screen is open, an item list appears at the side of the screen. From there you can look up every recipe, see where an item is used, and fill a crafting grid with a recipe. Plugins in the pack add more information to EMI:

• EMI Loot and Advanced Loot Info (ALI): chest loot and mob drops,
• EMI Ores: where ores generate,
• EMI Enchanting: what enchantments do and where they go,
• EMI professions (EMIP): villager professions,
• Just Enough Breeding (JEBr): breeding items,
• EMIffect (Status Effects EMI Plugin) and Just Enough Effect Descriptions (JEED): status effects,
• [Let's Do Addon] EMI Compat: the Let's Do recipes.

Getting started#

• Hover over an item and press R to see its recipes, or U to see its uses.
• Type in the search bar at the bottom to filter the list, for example by name or with @ for a mod.
• In a recipe view, use the + button to move the ingredients into your crafting grid.

Tips#

• Favorite items you need often; favorites stay in a separate list.
• EMI also shows the special recipe types of the pack, such as smithing upgrades, Chipped workbenches and BetterX anvils.
• Distraction Free Recipes (EMI / REI / JEI) hides the list when you are not using it.
