Mob Grindworks
Navrelis' compact automatic mob farms: a Mob Masher whose kills count as player kills, fans, conveyors, spikes, an item and XP vacuum hopper and liquid-XP tanks.
What it adds#
Mob Grindworks (mod id obscuras_mob_grinder) builds mob farms from a few compact blocks instead of huge towers:
- Mob Masher: a redstone-powered saw whose kills count as player kills, so mobs drop their player-only loot and XP. It has upgrade slots.
- Mob Fan and Entity Conveyor: push mobs towards the Masher.
- Iron Spikes: a simple way to damage mobs.
- Absorption Hopper: a 7x7x7 vacuum that collects items and XP.
- Tanks, XP Tap and drains: store liquid XP (the Singularity Tank holds 32 buckets, the Jumbo Tank 1024) and hand it back out.
Getting started#
Guide mobs with the Mob Fan and the Entity Conveyor into a redstone-powered Mob Masher, and place an Absorption Hopper nearby to collect the drops and XP.

- It works on servers as well as in singleplayer.
