[Let's Do] Meadow

What it adds#

Meadow expands the vanilla meadow biome and alpine life. It adds:

• Animals: Water Buffalo (savannas, rivers, swamps), Highland Cattle (hills and mountains), Umbra Cattle and Warped Cow.
• Cheese making: the Cheese Press, cheese wheels from cow, goat, sheep, buffalo and other milk, the Fondue Pot, a Cookpot, a Cooking Frame and a wooden cauldron.
• Villagers: the Cheesemaker and the Hermit.
• Structures: chalets, chapels, logging camps, monuments and observation posts in meadows.
• Blocks: limestone, alpine ores (including Alpine Salt), pine and alpine birch wood, woolen fabrics, tiled stoves, furniture and a Woodcutter that splits logs for you.

Getting started#

1. Visit a meadow biome for alpine salt, the new flowers and the structures.
2. Craft a Cookpot and use it to make rennet.
3. Craft and place a Cheese Press to turn milk into cheese.
4. Dip bread into a Fondue Pot of melted cheese for a meal.

Tips#

• Each milk type gives its own cheese, so collect milk from different animals.
• The Woodcutter works on its own once it has logs and has been activated with an axe.
• Fur armor is craftable and has its own advancement.
• Meadow's tiled stove also counts as a heat source for [Let's Do] Farm & Charm cooking.
