[Let's Do] HerbalBrews

What it adds#

HerbalBrews is a Let's Do mod about hot drinks. It adds wild Hibiscus, Lavender, Wild Coffee, Wild Rooibos and Wild Yerba Mate, tea leaves that you dry into green, black, oolong and mixed tea, and the stations to brew them: the Tea Kettle, the Copper Tea Kettle, a Stove for heat and the Brewing Cauldron for herbal flasks. A Jug stores finished drinks.

Getting started#

• Tea leaves: break flowers with shears to find Tea Blossoms. Place the leaves as a leaf block and let them dry in the sun to get green tea leaves. Further drying steps lead to the darker teas, and green and black tea can be blended.
• Herbs: lavender grows in hills and mountains; the other herbs grow in jungles, savannas and on beaches.
• Brewing: place a Tea Kettle on a heat source such as the Stove, add water and your ingredients, and brew. The drinks are green, black, oolong, hibiscus, lavender, rooibos and yerba mate tea, plus coffee and milk coffee.
• Flasks: craft a Brewing Cauldron to combine herbs into flasks with stronger effects.

Tips#

• Dry several batches of leaves ahead of time, because drying takes a while.
• Each drink gives its own effect, so keep a few different ones in your kitchen.
• The Witch Hat can be found or crafted and has its own advancement.
