Jade 🔍

What it adds#

Jade shows a small panel at the top of the screen for the block or creature under your crosshair. It shows the name and the mod it comes from, and extra details depending on the target: health, a furnace's progress, the growth of a crop, what a container holds, a mob's breeding cooldown and more. Jade Addons (Fabric) and Jade Additional Entities add information for more mods.

Getting started#

Jade works right away. Look at something and the panel appears. The default keys are on the number pad:

• Numpad 0: open Jade's settings,
• Numpad 1: show or hide the panel,
• Numpad 2: show or hide fluids,
• Numpad 5: read the panel aloud.

You can change the keys under Controls.

Tips#

• Use the settings to hide information you do not need, or to move and resize the panel.
• Sneaking can show extra details for some targets.
• The panel is a quick way to find out which mod a block comes from.
