Bosses of Mass Destruction

What it adds#

Bosses of Mass Destruction adds four bosses, each with its own arena and drops:

• Night Lich - towers in cold Overworld biomes. Drops Ancient Anima.
• Void Blossom - a lush cave arena deep in the Overworld. Drops Void Thorns and Crystal Fruit.
• Nether Gauntlet - a sealed blackstone arena in the Nether. Drops a Blazing Eye.
• Obsidilith - a floating arena in the End. Drops an Obsidian Heart.

The drops are used for items such as the Charged Ender Pearl, the Earthdive Spear, the Table of Elevation, the Staff of Suppression and the Blast Amplifier.

Getting started#

• Night Lich: killing undead mobs drops a Soul Star now and then (every 50 kills in Nytheria). Use it to find the nearest Lich tower, then place Soul Stars on the four altars inside.
• Void Blossom: the fight starts when you enter its arena.
• Nether Gauntlet: break into the seal in the middle of its arena.
• Obsidilith: place an Eye of Ender in its obsidian altar. This still works in Nytheria, because End Remastered [NeoForge/Fabric] only blocks throwing eyes and placing them in portal frames.

Tips#

• The Lich flies and attacks from range, so bring a bow or crossbow.
• Bring fire resistance for the Gauntlet and slow falling or a water bucket for the Obsidilith.
• Boss Ultimatum (Modpack Utils Series) sets these bosses back to 50 % health on their third player kill and every kill after it.
