Advanced Netherite (Fabric)

Adds four upgrade tiers above netherite (iron-, gold-, emerald- and diamond-infused) with extra drops and passive-mob perks.

What it adds#

Advanced Netherite adds four new tiers of netherite gear: Netherite-Iron, Netherite-Gold, Netherite-Emerald and Netherite-Diamond. Each tier has its own ingot and storage block, plus a full set of armor and tools. The gear also has perks:

Armor can make piglins, endermen or phantoms passive while you wear it.
Pickaxes have a chance to drop extra raw iron, raw gold, emeralds or diamonds from matching ores.
Swords have a chance for extra drops from piglins, zombified piglins, endermen or phantoms.
Hoes have a chance for extra crop drops.

Getting started#

Craft a Netherite-Iron Ingot from a netherite ingot and four iron ingots.
Each higher ingot is made from the ingot of the tier below plus four items of the next material: gold ingots, then emeralds, then diamonds.
Upgrade your gear at a smithing table with a netherite upgrade template, the gear of the tier below and the new ingot.

Tips#

Hold Shift over an item to see all its perks.
Each step costs a netherite upgrade template, so duplicate templates early.
Pick the tier by its perks, not only by stats. Pacified endermen or phantoms can be worth more than a little extra armor.
