YUNG's Better Caves (Fabric)
Replaces vanilla cave carving with larger, more varied cave systems and adds giant water and lava regions at the bottom of the world.
What it adds#
YUNG's Better Caves changes how caves are carved in the Overworld. It adds new cave carvers for larger, winding cave systems and surface caves, and Liquid Regions: big water and lava areas near the bottom of the world. The caves still work with the vanilla cave biomes and with the cave biomes of other mods in the pack.
Getting started#
Dig down or explore a cave entrance. Caves are bigger and connect in new ways, so bring enough torches and blocks. Near the bottom of the world, expect large lakes of water or lava.
Tips#
- Light your path; large caves are easy to get lost in.
- Carry a water bucket and fire resistance for the deep lava regions.
