Waystones

What it adds#

Waystones adds a fast-travel network. Waystones generate in the wild and in villages, in styles such as mossy, sandy, deepslate, Nether, Ender, prismarine and purpur. Once you activate one, you can travel to it. The mod also adds:

• Sharestones: teleport between sharestones of the same color,
• Warp Plates: linked with Attuned Shards,
• Portstones: open the travel menu but cannot be a destination,
• the reusable Warp Stone and several scrolls: Warp, Return, Bound and Portal Scrolls.

Getting started#

1. Right-click a waystone to activate it. It is now in your list.
2. Use any activated waystone, a Warp Stone or a scroll to open the list and choose a destination.
3. Craft your own waystones for your base and important places.

Teleporting costs experience levels based on the distance. Trips to another dimension cost 27 levels, which is also the maximum.

Tips#

• Warp Plates, global waystones and every scroll cost no experience.
• Wild waystones generate about every 25 chunks in the Overworld, the Nether and the End.
• Leashed animals and pets travel with you.
• There is no inventory button for teleporting in Nytheria; use a Warp Stone instead.
