Mod
Terralith
Reshapes the Overworld with nearly 100 biomes, including cave biomes and floating Skylands, using only vanilla blocks.
What it adds#
Terralith (by Stardust Labs) reworks Overworld terrain. It adds nearly 100 biomes, for example Alpine Highlands, Amethyst Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Caldera, Cloud Forest, Desert Oasis, Emerald Peaks, Glacial Chasm, Haze Mountain, Lavender Valley, Mirage Isles, Moonlight Grove, Painted Mountains and Sakura Grove. There are cave biomes such as Deep Caves, Frostfire Caves, Mantle Caves and Underground Jungle, and Skylands, floating islands with spring, summer, autumn and winter versions. Terralith only uses vanilla blocks.
It also adds structures, for example fortified villages, desert outposts, mage towers, spires, glacial huts, witch huts, giant bee hives and sunken towers.
Getting started#
The terrain generates on its own. Explore beyond spawn to see mountains, canyons and plateaus that vanilla does not have. In Nytheria, Terralith's terrain is combined with the biomes of
Oh The Biomes We've Gone.
Tips#
- Mountains can be very high; bring blocks, a water bucket or slow falling.
- Look for Skylands if you want a spectacular place to build.
- Use
Nature's Compass to find a specific Terralith biome.
