Eternal Starlight
Adds Eternal Starlight, a dimension in permanent dusk with its own biomes, bosses, materials and gear, reached through the Portal Ruins.
What it adds#
Eternal Starlight is a large dimension under a starry sky. It has around twenty biomes, from starlit forests to frozen peaks and the deep Abyss, its own mobs, structures such as the Golem Forge and the Cursed Garden, and a long material ladder that ends with unrealium. Its bosses include the Gatekeeper, the Starlight Golem and the Lunar Monstrosity.
Getting started#
- Find Portal Ruins in the Overworld (plains, forests, snowy biomes, jungles and deserts).
- Challenge the Gatekeeper who guards the ruin. When beaten, he drops an Orb of Prophecy. If you have already killed the Ender Dragon, he gives you his loot bag, including the Orb, without a fight.
- Complete the frame with chiseled voidstone and use the Orb of Prophecy on it.
The portal links both worlds at a 1:1 scale. Seeking Eyes point the way to boss structures.
Tips#
- You never spawn or respawn in the dimension, so set a bed or a waystone before you take risks.
- Hostile mobs can spawn at any light level up to 7, and it is always dark.
- Meteor showers hit hard under the open sky, and air runs short deep in the Abyss.
- The Gatekeeper trades with players who have beaten him or killed the Ender Dragon.
