Mod
Chipped
Adds thousands of decorative variants of vanilla blocks, made at seven themed workbenches.
What it adds#
Chipped adds close to 7,000 decorative block variants based on vanilla materials: stone, bricks, deepslate, basalt, blackstone, planks, logs, leaves, glass, wool, concrete, terracotta, lanterns, doors, trapdoors and many more. Styles include bricks, tiles, pillars, carvings, borders, scales and "remnants". The variants are made at seven themed workbenches instead of a crafting table: the Botanist Workbench, Carpenters Table, Glassblower, Mason Table, Loom Table, Alchemy Bench and Tinkering Table. Each one handles its own group of materials, for example the Carpenters Table for wood and the Glassblower for glass.
Getting started#
- Craft the workbench for the material you want to change.
- Put a stack of the base block into it.
- Pick a variant from the list and take the result.
EMI shows which workbench a block needs.
Tips#
- Start with the Mason Table and the Carpenters Table; most building blocks are stone or wood.
Sophisticated Backpacks (Unofficial Fabric port) and
Sophisticated Storage (Unofficial Fabric port) have upgrades for every Chipped workbench, so you can use them from a backpack or a storage block.- The creative search is the fastest way to browse variants; in survival,
EMI lists them too.
