Mod
Amendments
Small additions to vanilla blocks: wall lanterns, hanging flower pots, ceiling banners, dye and potion cauldrons, skull piles, carpet stairs and more.
What it adds#
Amendments by MehVahdJukaar changes how many vanilla blocks and items can be used, instead of adding a new theme. Examples:
- Lanterns can be placed on walls, and flower pots can hang from ceilings.
- Banners can be placed on ceilings.
- Carpets can be placed on stairs and slabs.
- Cauldrons can hold dye (to dye items) and mixed potions.
- Skulls can be stacked into skull piles, and candles can be placed on skulls.
- Cakes can be stacked into double cakes and placed facing a direction.
- A Tool Hook to hang tools, dye bottles and a Dragon Charge item.
Getting started#
Most changes work automatically: try placing a lantern against a wall, a carpet on stairs or a banner under a ceiling. For dyeing, fill a cauldron with water and add dye to get a dye cauldron, then use items on it. Mixing potions in a cauldron creates mixed potions.
Tips#
- Amendments works well with
Supplementaries from the same author. - The mod is highly configurable; if a tweak behaves differently than expected, the pack's settings may have changed it.
- Wall lanterns and hanging pots are an easy way to light and decorate builds without new blocks.
